From the beginning, our focus has been the bigger picture: what marine microorganisms can do for human health now, and what else they might one day make possible. We set out to build something more than a supplement company.

phytovive was founded by Daniella Hunter, a food innovator, restaurateur and hotelier with a long track record of bringing pioneering natural ingredients to a wider audience. Through The Real Coconut Kitchen, Sana Foods, her lifestyle brand By Daniella Hunter, and the wellness-led hospitality of Sanara, one question has guided her path: how can we nourish ourselves at a deep level, while caring for each other and nurturing our world?
That belief, that real wellbeing starts with how we choose to live, individually and collectively, and how gently we treat the systems that keep us well, is the foundation of everything she builds.
The longer story+
Her bond with the ocean began early, and personally. A childhood of serious health challenges and compromised breathing left her searching for answers, and drawn, again and again, to the water.
That search became her work: in kitchens, in food, in hospitality, and in a cookbook written along the way, Nourish Yourself, Nurture Our World. Underneath all of it ran one question. How do we nourish ourselves at the deepest level, while caring for the world we share?
More than a decade ago, that question narrowed to something very small. She became fascinated by marine microorganisms, among the oldest and most resilient life on earth, and by what they had learned to do long before we arrived.
phytovive is where that instinct met the evidence: one master strain, honed and DNA-mapped, backed by two decades of marine science and a human trial.
